Hello. I'm Sahil Narsingh. I am a graphic designer from past 6 years and right, uh, for 6 years. I started my journey journey with doing BSc aeronautics. But because of my passion in graphic designing, I, uh, I started doing freelancing. After that, I got offer from a company named Radha Madhu. After, uh, after doing this, I started my full on journey in graphic designing. I I followed my passion of design. Now I guess I have 2 to 6 years of experience as graphic design and video editing.

Okay. So, uh, mostly, we know that print design, which consists of CMYK colors, which is different than RGB, which is used in social media or media use. Okay. Digital, which, uh, digital image which we create that, uh, which we see on our phone or on on our laptop, which is in the RGB format, which is red, green, and blue color format, whereas the print design is different. Print design is in the CMYK format. Adapting the print design into the suitable social media use, we can directly we can con we have to convert from, uh, CMYK to RGB. Okay. So, uh, if you want to use any kind of, uh, print design into a social media post. We have you just have to convert it into RGB colors. So if I want to create a social media post, what will I do? Okay. So I want to create a social media post from the print design. I'll directly take, uh, as an example, I'll directly go into the illustrator, grab the file from, uh, cmytier, and I'll create a new file, which is in the jb 300 DPI and directly, uh, paste that into it. So there will be some color changes in it. So I'll try to match the color, uh, which is suitable for social media.

So mostly, uh, to in Photoshop, uh, when I want to enhance the image, so what I do, go to image and then I then I go to image quality. In image quality, uh, image an image resolution there, I can directly, uh, like, change that resolution from 70 to to 300 DPI. And then, uh, I can select the preservative 2.2. I'll select to pres72.0 and set the value to 90 or more than 50. So that will increase or enhance the quality of the image. Again, after this, I can also use if I want some sharpenages, I can also use the sharpen tool for this.

So, uh, my process of syncing all the companies visual all the companies design and and, you know, visual identity is, like, uh, I create separate folders for the companies and, uh, so I always follow the path of designing and, uh, follow the company, uh, company guidelines, bank guidelines. Uh, like, uh, if for example, I'm working for a company in Age brand. So they have certain, uh, brand guidelines. They have certain phone wear guidelines, color guidelines. They will only use black and a peach color or you can say a few color on, uh, in their logo. So these are their brand guidelines. So I'll follow the entire, uh, like, for from color to phone to the size of the phone. I'll follow follow entire brand guidelines, And this is my, uh, entire process, uh, to make the designs. And to make the designs and since I already plan my content calendar to when the calendar and maintain, uh, the future post, future pages properly.

Okay. Recently, uh, as I'm working for the Aceved, I, uh, I directly take example from that, uh, to illustrate, uh, color theory over there. So one of my design over there is the premium plan protein, which is the unflavored premium plan protein. So the this the matter of the to create this packaging okay. Uh, the process ideation of the to create this packaging is it is made from and rice and brown rice. K. Golden pea and brown rice and also green pea. So it is totally based on that, and it is unfavored since, uh, there is no flavor. So I kept it raw as it is a vegan brand. I followed the color, which is, uh, their color as well, which is acryl, green, pale green, and white. I used this white colors and created a packaging where I also, uh, take the, uh, illustrations like the green peas and rice barn so that it, uh, it is directly shows that this has, uh, like, uh, this has around this has p and rice band in it. Also, I highlighted it has 26 gram of protein in the, uh, front. So, uh, people who are going to buy it. So it has 26 gram protein. They they directly know that it has 26 gram of protein in one of those group. Also, I maintain the nutrition chart, which is nutrition facts, which is behind the, uh, be like, on the backside of the packaging. So the entire packaging from the, uh, key line to the color, uh, color correction to the print. Everything is done by me. So this will create, uh, this created the brand. This gave the brand as an identity, And I also follow the, uh, previous brand guidelines, the previous, uh, packaging designs which they made and so the colors.

Okay. So right now, I'm I'm so excited. Uh, one of my friend gave, uh, she wanted to create her logo, which was, like, it's event series, I guess. So she wanted some animation, like, with her logo. So it it was so exciting, and it was so complex as well. Her logo was so complex. So I created one event series logo where where the logo is coming, like, uh, 1, uh, and another text is, like, popping up. Like, uh, when paintbrush is coming, when paint bucket is coming, and then painting a whole new home. So, uh, this process, uh, the entire process was, uh, exciting, but it it took the time because I was I was, uh, like, quite beginner at that time. So I u I was using, uh, certain tools. So I use, uh, illustrator just to create her logo redesign her logo into pieces. So I redesigned her logo into pieces. So I separated, uh, the layers of the logo in the illustrator. I used, uh, illustrator for the separation of the layer. After that, I use, uh, after effects. So I took that illustrator file, which is separated, like, uh, in sequence and gave, uh, different sequences and need to it and, uh, transferred that file imported that file into After Effects. After importing that file into After Effects, I I directly, uh, I I started a meeting, seeing each and every prospect is each and every content of the, uh, file. The each and every sequence of the each and every layer of the file, uh, in the after effects. After, uh, animating each and every effect, I made certain, uh, compositions in the after effect so that, uh, I can overlap overlap different scenes in it. So this was so challenging for me. And, yeah, I used Illustrator and After Effects for the, uh, animation. And so are you recently, I started using Blender as a 3 d animation, and I guess it is so cool.

So how you balance the video and process and see how you design for different media platform? Yeah. That is so tricky questions, but, yeah, I have to. But as a graphic designer, we need to be creative all all across. Right? So I I always I always take examples from some platform like print Pinterest, Behance, dribble to maintain my creativity. And, also, I use certain phones, like, uh, for a different brand. They have certain phones. So, uh, I use particular phones for particular brands. So most of the brand, they don't want different phone. They want similar phone, which their brand is using. And so they can see the, uh, boost, everything in consistency. So mostly, I use particular, uh, follow the brand guidelines so that I can make the consistency of, uh, maintain the consistency via, uh, 2 of that brand towards, uh, like, on across all the media platform. So as an example, I started working for, uh, this agency which is fab. So they I created their packaging again. Uh, for the packaging, they wanted particular brand guidelines. Again, the food is similar all across their website. So they want a similar content. So I made a content calendar with, uh, like, noted what phone they use, what would be, uh, push for in their content, created related food, uh, relay sorry. Uh, created related content material, created more boards for them, and then, uh, I can, uh, I get con consistency for that one. So this is my, uh, this is how I follow the brand consistency and maintain the bank's

So in in my most challenging project I've worked on at Adobe Design was the, uh, brochure, which was, uh, which I have to make in 3 d before, uh, taking that into Adobe and Design. So mostly, uh, I create everything in, uh, Illustrator. I hardly use InDesign, but, uh, in this project, I have to use Adobe InDesign. So, uh, because the file which I get from the client has was in the InDesign format. So I have to, uh, like it was so challenging for me to create, uh, like, to add up things. But it was new, but I know illustrator. I guess that was easy for me, uh, to adapt from illustrator to Adobe Design. Yeah. I did, uh, like, uh, very few projects in Adobe Design, but, yeah, I executed it.

This is so, uh, as a as I'm I'm not as I'm, uh, learning this AI, this is so challenging for me, uh, for to create via content, uh, via AI generated. Sometimes we, uh, we have to know what what prompt we, uh, we, uh, we have to give to the AI to get a prominent, uh, to get a prominent outcome. So I guess, uh, I design to, uh, uh, for an example, I have to create a brand a post for a brand which sells shoe coffee, which has, uh, a shoe let's take an example of lion's main shoe. So most of the, uh, shoes, lion's mane, uh, wants most of these images you get from the Internet are used by everyone. If I want to create something, then I have to, uh, like, give prompt to the AI, and then and the AI will visually, uh, give me the representation of lands when coffee and everything. So I have to, um, um, so I'll give prompt to the AI what I wanna generate. And the strategy behind it that I'll, uh, I'll sketch it out on the paper first what I want to, uh, like, design for the store, uh, social media. What what is the content? What is the copy which I'm getting for, uh, and what what things I have to this design. If I'm con uh, I'm doing one campaign for a coffee, Lance mentioned coffee, then I'll see that this is uh, what what does lines might do? What does copy do? So I'll find out what is in it and then I find that lines made has focus. Okay. So I'll I'll generate something with focus, which will increase focus like a chess. Okay. Like, uh, archery or like, uh, you are you are feeling dizzy while working. So you what you'll do, you'll have a you'll grab a cup of coffee which will increase your focus, and similarly, uh, that that works. So this is how I get I'll, uh, make a content.

This is how you could handle situation. Sometimes when we design, the designers have, uh, certain, uh, different things are in our mind. But I guess the client, uh, it's, uh, it's client's business. He knows very well about his product. But, uh, if, uh, the design is not matching, then design region design region is not matching. Then let's I will I will discuss with the client with that what is his vision, what he wants, uh, from what design he wants. What is the specific thing which he has in his mind? So, uh, I'll I'll try to, uh, try to align my design, uh, with his vision. Or, uh, like, I try to understand his vision from the design, what he want to create. Example, if I wanna sell, uh, something related to, uh, like, a beer, but, uh, not a beer, which is, uh, if I'm selling an alcohol. But I don't want to, uh, like, portray this as of here. But it is healthier than beer if I'm getting healthier option. So, uh, I'll so this is the client's, uh, motto. So I'll understand that client's motto and I'll portray whatever he is telling me. We'll create some designs according to to 3 designs according to it, and then and then, like, keep the client into, uh, for the design and match, uh, the vision with the design.

Okay. Can you provide example of how you use code zero over for in my own social media campaigns? Okay. So in my current company, I'm using this platform, Asana, uh, and the Google Sheet so I can get a buffer of, uh, what campaign is coming and, like, uh, in future, like, what campaign I have to run-in future or I have to create, uh, some videos for a campaign, a social media campaign, if I'm launching some products. So there will be, uh, certain tasks. I'm working in a group, so I, uh, I'll, like, I assign some task to, uh, my teammates. There are some content writers. There are video editors. There are graphic designers. We have team of graphic designers. So, uh, we divide our content. Uh, and then in Asana, it is a managing platform where everything is managed step by step. If, uh, I want to create a content, then, uh, 1 person will, uh, assign me, uh, assign me the content. Okay. On basis of that container, I'll design something. I'll sketch sketch out something, and then I'll try to if if I have some product in hand, then we can create a 3 d render of that. And after creating 3 d render, we can be put that 3 d render into, like, or, like, in the social media cam campaign or post. And we can see that this is the launch of the product, this is the launch, and this is the launch price. Some some candidates are given by the, um, like, market marketing department. So this is how I make buffer. So before 1 week only, uh, if we make everything post, social media post, social media videos, some color ourselves for all the campus. And all these things, we manage on Asana or we use sometimes sometimes we use, uh, Google Sheets.
